An in-depth look at beats, bars and phrases. Whether you're an aspiring DJ, producer, singer, songwriter, drummer or anything in between, knowing how to structure your music is very important to be up to professional studio quality. Students will gain knowledge on intros, verses, chorus, musical codes and conventions, whilst also pushing the boundaries, creating a unique body of work, and ultimately making their music stand out.
Live Sound Recording
Live Sound Recording
What's that?
Live sound recording includes and is not limited to;
  • Microphone/musical instrument set up with your audio interface
  • Recording through a digital audio workshop.
    • This part of the course teaches students how to set up the equipment needed
  • Adding reverb and compression to audio
  • Audio level and clipping
These and more all help determine the DO's and DON'T of audio recording.
Music Production
Music Production
What's that?
Students will explore various different digital audio workstations such as Audacity, Logic Pro and Adobe Audition, learning how to produce beats, instrumentals and melodies. This is a great, hands-on approach on how to work with synthesizers, midi keyboards, and covers writing a riff. The theory side of things touches on the different bpm (beats per minute) for each genres, such as writing build-ups.
Design and Marketing
Design and Marketing
What's that?
Inspire Through Music will help students to develop skills to enable them to publish, market and promote their completed end product. Designing album artwork, publishing music online, through radio outlets and everything in-between. This helps give them skills for life if music is something they wish to pursue as a future career. This is taught in a creative and forward thinking way, all whilst being interactive and unique to each student or group.

Inspire from home

This is our evening/weekend workshop where we bring the studio to you in the comfort of your own home! This course will be beneficial to students who would love to learn singing, songwriting and recording and who might not yet have the confidence to do it in a public setting.

This programme is designed to help give a huge confidence boost and excel levels of creativity and productivity, whilst also helping to coach and develop talents and skills. By the end of the course, students will have a full project of work in the form of an EP, album or mixtape, all from the comfort of their own home.

This is suitable for anyone 11+, we can cater for all students and will undergo prep work designed specifically for each student.
